I didn’t think it was possible, but the second season of Arrested Development is actually better than the first! The show just gets funnier without sacrificing its charm and wit. And as the laughs keep piling up, the overarching plot actually does thicken.

This show is genius! Whoever said it wasn’t worth consuming is crazy.

This show is so wonderfully meta that not only does it feature someone actually jumping a shark, but that someone—oh, you just have to see it for yourself.

Brilliant. Beyond words. Started the third season as soon as this one was finished!

The second season of Arrested Development has everything going for it, from a perfect cast, great writing, and a technically flawless show. It’s comedy for people who think and I can watch the episodes again and again. The first season was very funny, but in the second season they got the rhythms and pacing just right and spread jokes and plot points across the season and create something that will stand the test of time. While it’s sad that the show was cancelled and mishandled by Fox, but they created a memorable sitcom at the high level of Seinfeld.

After watching Season 1 with me in a matter of a few days, my brother decided to get this for me and DH as a belated Christmas gift. He decided to watch it first, before handing it over to us. After watching it he decided he wanted to keep it, so he had to go out and buy another one for us. What a great show!
