WORTH CONSUMING!

After watching this movie, take a little time to research the story of Harold Russell, the man with hooks instead of hands. Very inspirational-he’s the only actor in Oscar history to win two Oscars for the same role. (There’s also some sadness to his story-to wit, what became of his Supporting Actor award.)

WORTH CONSUMING!

Awesome. Really captures the feelings associated with postwar America as three servicemen return home to their families, only to discover how much has changed. Fredric March is great! Harold Russell is inspiring. Dana Andrews is dashing. Myrna Loy and Virginia Mayo are delightful. The story will hold your interest from opening credits to the last kiss. Well deserving of the seven Oscars it received, including Best Picture.

WORTH CONSUMING!

Such a moving film. It reminds me of the culture shock anyone faces after being away from home for a long time.
