WORTH CONSUMING!

I had forgotten just how funny Terry Prattchet is… And not just funny but philisophical, deep and profound, maybe not so profound in this novel but some of his stuff really talks to you about life and death…

WORTH CONSUMING!

I agree with calypte, below. I wasn’t wowed with the first Aching book, but have really enjoyed the next two, with Wintersmith being the best of the batch so far. Good pacing, and really nice insights into what might be going on in Young Tiffany’s mind. It’s also fun to see Granny and Nanny from more of the “outside” than in the Witches books.

WORTH CONSUMING!

The Tiffany Aching books are definitely turning into Pratchett’s best work at the moment. And on reflection, this handles a whole lot of teenage-y issues a whole lot less annoyingly than Harry Potter’s angst. Mind you, you wouldn’t get away with that kind of nonsense with Granny Weatherwax and/or Nanny Ogg around!
