WORTH CONSUMING!
Unwieldy, and more esoteric than your usual Mamet fare – but ultimately rewarding. Redbelt has weak spots plotwise, and the delivery could’ve been a little tighter. Mamet might benefit from a little regrouping: His writing and directing have gotten progressively sloppy through the years; but since I’m a fan of his work I only wish him well. This movie is recommended for longtime aficionados but not for first-timers. Go watch House of Games or The Spanish Prisoner instead.
