The Blues Brothers is one of my favorite comedies of all time, and is definitely my favorite movie musical of all time.

This Collector’s Edition is an extended edit with previously-cut scenes restored and many other scenes and musical numbers lengthened.

but really, really not the best either. In fact, as far as I’m concerned the only thing that keeps me from categorizing it as Pure Crap is Dan Akroyd. Love that guy. The rest of it? Not so much. Ugh, what passes for comedy these days.
