WORTH CONSUMING!

Naomi Watts and Edward Norton do a good job in this film, they effectively conjure the William Somerset Maugham novel’s time and place. Loved the scenery and thought the characters were well done (not your typical romance, at all). Thoroughly enjoyable.

Edward Norton is very good in this film . . .

Thought the last scene was cheesy and unnecessary – I guess it was intended to show closure?

Still, very good movie.
