If you are a fan of the show you might not like this book. It is about someone not on the show, an unknown survivor. It doesn’t focus on things that I love about the show—like the mystery of the island. Some of the characters from the show are in the book but the storylines focus mostly on those survivors we don’t know (or have even heard of). As someone who loves the show, I found this book lacking.

Having heard people rave about the series and fialing to catch the first few episodes I decided to read this, the first book based on the series. Faith’s first few days, a light read, with some of her backstory.
