WORTH CONSUMING!

The Ember books are similar to the Lowis Lowery books; The Giver, Gathering Blue and Messenger (though Messenger pretty much sucked compared to Gathering Blue and The Giver). Each are about a different universe/dimension than our own.

In this sequel to the City of Ember, the Emberites have emerged from their underground city and must learn to live in the above world. The do this with the help, and animosity, of the People of Sparks. Good follow-up as well as a good morality play.
