It was pretty good. I adapted a Williams-Sonoma strawberry and rhubarb pie recipe to make it (basically swapping out the berries). The flavour was acceptable, but really not a tonne better than a blueberry pie. Good things: saskatoon berries are easy to pick at a local farm. Bad things: the seeds are a little more prominent than they would be for blueberries. Also the funny looks when you tell people what the pie’s made of…
