I’ve never heard of this movie before. In the beginning, I thought it was going to just be about a group of kids doing something funny…

and then when the fat kid asks if they want to see a dead body, I swear I felt my eyes bulge out of my head!

laura let me borrow this after she was horrified i hadn’t seen it. it was interesting to see all the actors v. young. it still makes me smile to see jerry o’connell as a kid. he was so chubby! :) i liked the friendship aspect of the movie and it made me reminisce of the escapades i had when i was younger. neat feel-good movie.

im 25. nope, never saw it before a few nights ago. does that make me a bad person? i just say, you cant see em all.

seeing this as an adult for the first time, i was impressed. the embarrassing moments werent from the cringe-inducing 80s, but the cringe-inducing things 12 year olds say, and i said. i still remember things that i said or thought when i was that age that i am just embarrassed of.
all the acting is superb, the storyline is simple and remarkable, its funny how stephen king’s panache for drama is so easy to pick out now, yet doesnt feel tired. its timeless.
frankly im surprised i dont hear more people quoting this movie more often. suck my big fat one is such a classic.
