WORTH CONSUMING!

A coming-of-age story, which celebrates childhood. Makes sense once you see it. References to Wizard of Oz abound, and we all know, that this is just a dream of Sarah’s. Sentimental, yet also insightful into the workings of a teen girl.

Labyrinth is far too intimate with David Bowie’s crotch. I now know far, far more about David Bowie’s penis than I ever wished to know, and he didn’t even take his pants off.

However, were I 16 again I’d probably not notice David Bowie’s crotch and instead be focused on Jennifer Connelley.

WORTH CONSUMING!

This movie should be called “Labyrinth, starring David Bowie’s Crotch” because, really, that would be a more accurate title. Whenever Bowie was on screen, it seemed like there was a little spotlight right there, hilighting it for all to see.

Or, was that just me?

Anyway. I only recently saw this film. I think if I had grown up with it my opinion would be very different (puppets scared the hell out of me, for one thing.) but as it is, I found this a great film to laugh at. I was giggling the whole way through. David Bowie should always be in spandex, that should be a new law. I don’t care if he’s like fifty something now. “Magic Dance” is the most catchy song in the world.

Watch this film.

WORTH CONSUMING!

This movie is one of my favorite all time movies… now. When I was a child, this movie scared the bejesus out of me. Funny, considering that such contemporary fare as The Dark Crystal is waaaay more terrifying when seen through the eyes of a toddler. Maybe it was the omnipresence of David Bowie’s package that disturbed me so… now it’s one of my favorite aspects of this wonderful film!
