Unique twist on a tired premise. Superhero has powers, but isn’t very thoughtful in how he uses them. I liked this movie, although I thought the sub-plot about a centuries-old race of super beings detracted from the development of Hancock’s character. Not bad, not great.

The funny parts were funny, and the action was kind of interesting … and then this movie fell apart about halfway through. We kept going, “Huh? Seriously?” for the rest of it. It’s a shame, because this could have been something really great, and these very talented actors deserve better.

Oh, and I could gleefully slap whatever moron put together the score.

what other people say. I liked this movie. It was fun.

The title was naff, but the trailers looked fun. And it was! The review I’d heard said that an interesting start soon gave way to standard comic-book fare, but while there was an element of that it wasn’t predictable. It also wasn’t as funny as I thought it would be, instead being quite moving in parts.

Mostly, though, it was just fun :)

really cute and fun. a little on the cheezy side, and seuss said he wished there had been more scenes of him actually saving the day, but overall, entertaining and smile-making.
