NOT WORTH CONSUMING

I don’t understand why this is such a popular book. It was boring. The lessons were lame. Such long plot exposition, then a quick wrap up ending…I just don’t get it.

btw, this has nothing to do with the Christian tones of the book. I can deal with that. It just sucked.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I re – read this book over and over again , i finish it and then a week later i read it once more . Im in love with this text – full of sentiment and longing for another time . Wrapped up in the text are references to other literary works references to religion (christian and pagan) , british history which makes it a treasure trove for the detective reader .

Read it in a night. Liked it a lot. A bit too Christian for me, but that didn’t stop me from bauling my eyes out at the end. Something about children, the world of the imagination and good social satire gets me every time.
