Antonio Carlos Jobim was one of the greatest jazz composers and the father of the bossa nova. This collection, studded with superstars like Sarah Vaughan, Astrud Gilberto, Shirley Horn, Ella Fitzgerald, Oscar Peterson, Dizzy Gillespie, Stan Getz, and others, is one of the definitive compilations in jazz. I recommend it without reservation. The talent is gigantic and you just can’t go wrong with this disk.
