Fred & Ginger are a treat. The music is enduring, too, from Pick Yourself Up to The Way You Look Tonight. Wonderful duet to close the film. But the main reason I enjoyed this was the light, upbeat way it was directed. George Stevens was a master. Bravo to AFI for moving this clssic up to the Top 100 List in 2007.

Doesn’t have much of a plot, but Astaire and Rogers are so fleet on their feet, it doesn’t much matter.
