A largely persuasive history of the meme – a bit over-speculative in places, but nice ideas throughout, and it’s broadened my understanding and appreciation of memetics. The eerily cheerful demolition of free will at the end feels like it belongs in another book, though.
Not enough progress to give a capsule review to, except to observe that the preface and introduction are both interesting (one by Richard Dawkins, one by the author).
