I love Lilo and Stitch! — 1 year ago
Lilo and Stitch is one of my all-time favorite Disney films. The original Hawaiian music in this movie is great. I can still hear them in my head, and sometimes I sing along to them although I don’t really know the words, much like the beginning to “The Circle of Life” in “The Lion King”. :)
This movie has a lot of humor, but it also has a lot of heart. I love movies with great storylines, and this one is wonderful. Stitch is a genetic experimentation built only for destruction. When he crash-lands a peaceful island in Hawaii with no major cities, he begins to fight his programming and make himself into more than a mere destructor.
I love the voice of Stitch’s alien inventor, Jamba. I find his Russian accent to be really cute and funny. I also love that they got Kevin MacDonald to play the neurotic “Earth expert”, Pleakly. His characters on “Kids in the Hall” were always a little bit neurotic, emphasized by his nasally voice and wild look. And of course, Chris Sanders as Stitch is really cute with his “Gizmo from Gremlins”-styled voice. :)
