Not only is this movie ridiculously bad and a lazy example of its genre, but it contains abhorrent scenes of animal cruelty. Even as someone who tries to understand all kinds of cinema, I wish I had avoided it altogether.

You have seen something unlike 99.9% of movies available. John Waters is a talented man, and this movie makes no exception. I’ll admit, it’s gross. It’s not for the faint of heart or younger viewers, but it makes you think a bit and just watch instead of “figuring out” what happens next.

I could have done without the dog poop bit. And maybe the chicken in the sex scene. But otherwise a worthwhile watch.
