finished this on saturday night, had a bit of trouble remembering where everything was, but as soon as i did it was easy to jump back into. i found it pretty amazing how intuitive the controls were, even after not playing it for a few weeks.
to reiterate, i love the look and feel of this game. the “boss” fight was really just beautiful, and fun, even if it wasnt terribly challenging. im not sure if i see myself playing through this one again, but i will definitely be picking up the sequel.

so to anyone out there who has a wii and downloads games on occasion, do yourself a favor with this one. included in the first batch of wiiware, original downloadable games for the wii, this game has become the standout, receiving high marks all around.
its a platformer, 2.5 d, with ingenious usage of the wiimote and simple but addictive gameplay. graphics are lush, music is pleasant, just..just get it. with the slowdown of the vc anyway, these wiiware games are picking up the slack, and doing a damn fine job of it.
