As expected, a ‘Very Short Introduction’ to linguistics. My next ‘Very Short Introduction’ read: Wittgenstein, then Russell, Philosophy, Classics, Judaism and Islam.

I thought it was kinda boring and hard to follow. There were brief moments of interesting ideas though. That may be a saving grace. Otherwise I just sped through the end just to get it done. Not entirely happy.
