Well, I’m not saying it was the best movie in the world, but it is the quintessential horror movie. It was the goriest thing I’ve ever seen and I was still disturbed a couple of days later. I never saw the original, so I can’t compare, but if you’re looking for the basic definition of “horror” you can find it in this movie.

The blood is so obviously fake, it made me upset. Putting Jessica Biel in with not-well-known actors/actresses was a mistake. But overall, a decent horror/gore flick. Semi-based on a true story so that earns TTCM some points.
