Yes, it is extremely saccharine pop. Yes, I am ashamed of these songs on my last.fm. But! It’s like a whole summer of my youth. I once spent a whole month in a summer camp and it was really awesome fun, and this was like the only album our cabin had that I liked. I put it on all the time. Listening to those songs really brings me back there. The weird thing is, I’ve never watched Dawson’s Creek! But I decided to buy the soundtrack anyway, because it’s part of the soundtrack of my life ;) (Now I’m becoming saccharine too!)

The songs are all pretty much the same pop-ish thing but I really really like Shimmer by Shawn Mullins (who is this guy?!) and really really hate the Jessica Simpson one.

There might be one or two songs I liked on this one, but I’d rather just download them and stick them in with the other music I like listening to. This one is just too saccharin for me…I couldn’t figure out whether to be depressed or just nauseated.
