It took me a little bit to get into this one, but it was definately worth the watch. actually, it was a joy to watch this movie. but be warned, it may make you hungry! the movie was a delicious as the bit meal the prepared as a highlight of the film.

A great film that is simple and solid and moving. One of my all-time favourite films.

In the Fall of 1996 my Aunty Penny arranged for a group of us to go to a cooking school on Martha’s Vineyard where we recreated the menu from this film. I can still picture us dancing around a food laden table to the strains of Louis Prima.
