Super Bomberman is a very addictive game — 1 year ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

My mom was a big fan of Bomberman for the NES, so when Super Bomberman came out for the Super Nintendo, my dad bought it for her as a present. She would play it way into the early morning hours, playing until 5 AM and then waking up at 7 AM to go to work. The Super Bomberman music became a very familiar sound in our house.

It’s no wonder that she was so hooked, it is a great game. I spent many hours playing it as well, but I wasn’t quite as addicted as my mom was. :)

The character designs in this game are just too cute. The levels are all themed, with a circus level, a metropolis level, and a battle arena, among others. In the original Bomberman, you had to go through 50 stages, each one looking like the last but with different brick layouts and enemies. This game has much more character, although it has less levels. This game also pits Bomberman against bosses at the end of the stages. You have to dodge their attacks and place bombs continuously until they finally explode. When my mom got to the first boss for the first time, I remember how weird it seemed to have a boss fight in a bomberman game, but it worked so well, it all seemed natural after that.
