Very pleasant, but what is a Glasgow band singing about a baseball player for?And in many trips to Scotland I’ve never heard an accent like the singer’s.Oh well, art for art’s sake-

This is the first time I’ve listened to anything of theirs, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Couldn’t tell you why, but it just captured my attention. I’ve heard it’s different from their other stuff, so we’ll see if I like the rest of it as well. But this album was quirky and upbeat and put me in a good mood.

Not convinced, and I’ve owned this for at least a year now! Definitely mood music – as in, I need to be in the mood to play it.
Pluses: upbeat and cheery, summery and with a late 60s-ish feel.
Minuses: rambling and a bit irritating at times.
Guess it’s just not really my style.

It’s ok, but not as good as some of their other stuff. In fact, I truly hated it the first time I heard it. It’s grown on me now…
