Due to a tivoing mixup*, I missed most of Chapters 1-4 but caught 5-6. Hope this comes on Logo again sometime soon.
(It’s hard to clear out the necessary 7.5 hours of space.)
I think the stagy-ness of the dialog (lots of talking, very dramatic) works well for TV, maybe more so than if this had been a movie. I feel like it was made, and made well, for the small screen. I LOVE the reuse of the actresses – I didn’t see this as a stage play, did they do that there too?
Didn’t love part 2 as much, too limited/limiting in time and place.
