November 2004 – Book on tape from library. I enjoyed this Shreve book and finished it in just 3 days. I don’t think I like it as much as The Pilot’s Wife or Light on Snow, but I liked it much more than All He Ever Wanted. This book is about a woman who murders her abusive husband when he tracks her down after she runs away from him. The characters are engaging and what make this book good. The plot is interesting but not innovative.
