What’s up with only a handful of people having watched Total Recall?

The movie is an excellent presentation of difficult philosophic themes – the nature of existence, the nature of the human mind (are we determined by our memories, or by what we do?), the existence of alien life etc. It manages to be a mind-boggling action movie and covers a gamut of scale ranging from the individual story of the protagonist, to terraforming an entire planet. Total Recall is a movie that’s very well worth watching twice in a row, and the fact that it has so few viewers here is disheartening.
