Watched this one for the first time after I watched the documentary about Troy Duffy (“Overnight”), which I guess tarnished the whole thing for me, because there were some interesting bits which were largely overshadowed by the extreme amount of eyerolling it provoked.

I can’t help thinking of Troy Duffy as pretentious and overrated, and I really hate the fictional device of making one character appear to be a genius who can figure out crimes no one else can begin to comprehend. And by that logic, the writer must be a genius too! Well I’m not buying it.

Sickly funny! And what we all wish would could go out and do ourselves….. by the way I have to say one of my favorite lines is: “Is it dead?” LOL by the way did anyone else catch the picture that they put up on the way to cover up their bloody mess? lol

My favorite action movie ever by far it is great I love it so much

Anna told us she had a movie about some Irish men, and thought Adam would like it. I didn’t read up on it and had NO CLUE what she was bringing over yesterday. I had no idea what the movie was about except “Irish men” and so I was totally blown away. This movie is SO “me”. Adam LOVED it, which was nice, because rarely does he love things. At one point he was laughing so hard we had to pause the movie for him to stop laughing, and then rewind so we could watch it without his interruptions. He was like “we have to buy this! I have to watch this again and again!” There were just so many good parts. Seriously. I’m so glad Anna brought it over. Adam was like “I was hoping it wasn’t something we were going to have to humor her over!” Ha. I also loved that there was zero romance, I love that they could see they didn’t need some crap romance to jazz the movie up. Loved it, loved it, loved it.

This movie ROCKS! And it doesn’t hurt that Connor and Murphy are total HOTTIES!!! They had said they were going to make a sequel but I haven’t seen any more about it lately which saddens me.

ever few months, i have the overpowering desire to watch this movie again. i didn’t think it was the most incredible thing the first time i watched it, but it creeps up on you, much like that nasty crack addiction of mine. anyway, in conclusion: handsome irish brothers + booze + guns + william dafoe + dirty angels = swooooon…
