I kind of came into this film towards the middle and lost a lot of ground, so I went and rented the flick, and was impressed; Two boys, one black and one white were born on the very same day; Despite the differences and the times(1930s-1940s), the boys grow close; By the time the film starts 1948-1949, things heat up. A new sheriff is in town; This one a young fella who has been to World War 2, and wants to change things; this is where the two boys come in; A murder trial comes into being; a young pregnant black girl and you have a mix that gets tight; Very interesting movie.
