meh.

it was gory and had nasty blood ew ew ew

and it was like haunting

but it was a good story.

wouldnt watch it again, but would recommend it to someone w/ a stronger stomach for icky things. even the darned mouse made me cringe. ew.

OK, I won’t lie, I am a sucker for Tom Hanks; can’t help it; He just brings a certain integrity to his roles; In this one, he plays a Depression era guard on death row who gets a new inmate who they are afraid of initially, but come to find out that he is a special being; He heals, and though he held them girls that were killed it wasn’t necessarily because he done it, but that he was hurt after what was done; but because of the time and place, he’s guilty anyway;
