Long-nosed fire chief (Steve Martin) in a small town likes astronomer (Daryl Hannah) but fears rejection and can’t quite get up the nerve to tell her. Things get twisted when one of the firemen asks his help to woo the star-gazing beauty. Worth watching if only for the bar scene with the twenty insults. Witty. Funny. After a while, the nose actually starts to look good on Martin.
