it was a good plot (deepened by the fact that the plot is based on a real story) and more or less good directing, however angelina managed to spoil it for me. i never realized how bad an actress she is untill now. during the film i thought 1000 times that any other actress would have been better in her role than she was. put cate blanchett or anyone, even reese wintherspoon and the movie would be much more enjoyable.
thumbs down for angelina. she’s just a face. i dont even think she’s beautiful any more…

I don’t understand the one or two people who did not think this was Worth Consuming. It was a wonderful, emotional drama that really pulled you in; I felt genuine anger towards the police force and, especially, the chief of police. I felt genuine sadness for Christine Collins and the children who were tortured and murdered by that self-obsessed psychopath. Maybe I understood that it was a true story, or based on a true story, more than other watchers did.

I was talked into seeing this by friends and was surprised by just how much I enjoyed it. Great period drama and really pulls on your emotions.
