Finished this afternoon. Well I thought I was addictive to chocolate. I need chocolate every day, but boy compared to these women in the book, I am a baby.
I for one would never drink chocolate and eat it at the same time, plus at the most I will eat one bar. Sometimes it made me sick reading of so much chocolate eating. It was a bit too much in my eyes.
It took me a bit to get into the story. I liked to read about some of the women but not all. Autumns story was boring and annoying. Not enough depth. I also thought Chantal’s story I did enjoy reading about her, how her husband treated her and especially the reason which he told her why, very unbelievable and a bit stupid.
But all in all I did enjoy myself and I am glad that I can go on and read the sequel The Chocolate Lover’s Diet. Maybe we get to know the other women more.
