My skin didn’t like this particularly. I think it may have even been the cause of my pimple outbreak!

Not quite perfect, but nice. Best bit is the smell – vanilla creme brulee! :)

As a moisturiser, I do like it: it’s creamy without being too greasy, although I do think it takes a while to settle into your skin.

Works okay under make up – in fact, my new mousse foundation likes the slightly richer base here than my usual Simple product.

Can’t put my finger on what exactly doesn’t work for me, but I’d rather try some new ones (urm, about all of them by the look of it right now!!) before getting another tub.

I picked up a bubble bar, was ‘accosted’ (in that very nice Lush way!) by an assistant, and got her to help me pick out a fresh face mask. She then asked had I tried their cleansers (yes, and actually I was after a refill!) and since she ‘convinced’ me on that, she tried her luck with the moisturiser ;)

I’ve never tried Lush moisturisers before, but I’m game to give things a go. This is apparently a really good one to try first, and is fab for sensitive skin (not that mine’s so sensitive that anything in Lush is enough to set it off). It does feel rather lovely on the back of my hand, and has the most sublime subtle scent.

Here’s hoping it does nice things for my skin. And is okay to have very unnatural makeup shoved on top of it!
