WORTH CONSUMING!

The third and final installment of The Memory Dress Trilogy, this play has won two Elizabeth Sterling Haynes Awards and at the time of publication has been nominated for awards in other cities where the production has been lauded Burkett’s most stunning achievement. Burkett tackles themes of memory and loss, happiness and fate with warmth, wit and humanity.

I have seen so many shows. From big productions like Lord of the Rings and Phantom of the Opera to small shows like the Diary of Anne Frank and Alice in Wonderland and many, many more. However, this production of Ronnie Berkett’s Happy was one of the best shows I have ever had the pleasure of comsuming. It was a story of loss, grieving and humanity. At moments I was laughing out loud and at the next, tears were welling up. Ronnie Burkett conveys more emotion through his marionettes then most live actors ever would.
