NOT WORTH CONSUMING
I’m glad I didn’t go to the cinema to see this, but even after the nasty comments all round I figured a movie with a sabre-tooth tiger in it had to be worth a free flick! Alas… not so much (although the tiger was cool!). The adventure/sfx/cool element is totally played down in favour of a mystic, quest-requiring love story. Also, I think it would have been much easier to enjoy a little if it’d been classed as a fantasy film, as the ‘history’ element is dire. Mammoths, pyramids, and… wot?!
