i like war movies. there are few that i dislike. this is by far the worst war movie i have ever seen. it was just bad. i am not a soldier. i do not pretend to understand the stress, and trauma one witnesses in the acts of war. i absolutely buy a commander being like that of robert duvall’s character. surf or fight. charlie doesn’t surf. crazy, loyal, and his men love him. but this movie just went on and on and on and on and…you get the picture.

Such a good movie. This is my 2nd favourite war movie of all time now, first being Full Metal Jacket.
