There’s something a bit car-crash-ish about this. I think it’s Drew Barrymore’s horrendous accent. Story-wise, who can resist a classic fairy tale love story? And Anjelica Houston is divine as a wicked stepmother!

I’m rewatching this again after about 5 years, and I’ve forgotten just how much I enjoy it!

The new story is great, the actors are great, the visuals and costumes are great :)

i know some people think fairy tales are childish but i still like them. Every so often i like to be taken away for a few hours and they do the trick. In the end the stepmothe rgot what they deserved. eventually good triumps over evil

i love this movie…i’ve watched it so many times, but i still love it. beautiful movie. and it’s always better to watch it with friends and a bowl of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream.
