I was really disappointed by this movie. I didn’t find it to be frightening at all- just odd. The music in most of it simply annoyed me. It was too loud compared to the dialog. The acting was decent (little boy playing Danny Lloyd was especially good), but the Wendy character I found to be irritating.

I really feel like, with all of the buildup for this movie, I should have gotten something out of it. I’m glad that I’ve seen it now so that I know the content of all of the parodies; however, I essentially think that I wasted about two and a half hours of my life.

An alright film I suppose but please, read the book. It is so much scarier than the film and goes into everything in a much more detailed way that makes everything seem ten times worse. It can be slow to get to the scary bits but the build up is worth it when they do hit. I beg you, read the book and dont watch the film as the best bits from the book arent even in the film.

This movie is very scary and I enjoyed it a lot. Jack Nicholson is really great and believable in his role. The music adds a lot of suspense. The little boy played by Danny Lloyd is creepy.

Excellent acting & filming. A very creepy script. Don’t waste your time with the remake with that pus from Wings. This is the better version. This is one of the creepiest movies, if not the creepiest one, that I have ever seen. Very suspenseful.
