A definite improvement over Areas of my Expertise. Of course it was similar in execution, but I found it to be a little more enjoyable – the page-a-day aspect was a welcome diversion in the midst of the main text, and I think the material would make a good actual page-a-day desk calendar.
I thought there were fewer tedious tables full of boring information (or maybe I just knew when to duck this time – skipping pretty much of the Mole Men names and occupations, for example), and more examples of snort-out-loud nuggets.
I find myself interested in reading the reported third volume.
