A story about this — 4 years ago
Even though the last book ended in a cliffhanger, King decides to veer off into the past history of Roland, the main character. Of course fans of the series have been dying to find out this very stuff, but it turns out to be kind of lame and melodramatic. I’ve heard the next book is about as good as this and it’s been siting on my shelf for about 6 months.
