NOT WORTH CONSUMING
Barbara Vine is the pseudonym of Ruth Rendell when she isn’t writing mysteries. Normally, I’m a fan of Vine’s pyschological suspense, but this account of the narrator’s great-grandfather, doctor to the royal family and expert in blood diseases, and his tangled geneaology was just boring to me.
