The album that got me hooked — 3 years ago
WORTH CONSUMING!
This is a really amazing seven-track EP. It has alternate versions of some of the songs off the studio album O – a live version of Delicate, and both an instrumental version and a demo of Volcano. The other two demos are Lonelily, which I love, and Moody Monday, which is pretty good. The other live songs, The Professor, and Woman Like a Man, are rough, but they really showcase Rice’s talent both vocally and on the guitar. Lyrically, he almost reminds me of Liz Phair, especially on Woman Like a Man. Anyway, this is definitely worth a listen.
