Fair scary thriller about a son who’s lost amidst a sea of enchanting and scary bewilderment, all in a former orphanage. The acting is overly dramatic and the scares are quite lukewarm, but still this film has something nice to it. An eery ring to it.

Good, particularly for a debut film. Nothing original, including the ending, but very atmospheric and low-key. The director really knows how to build up a simple scene.

this was recommended to me as a good horror film. i would argue whether this is really horror…but it’s still pretty good as far as a thriller/mystery-esque movie would go.

nice looking, as i would expect from this director. decent.
