I discovered just recently that Hot Fuss was released on my birthday. (It was released on an earlier date in some countries, but what the hell, I’ll go with what Amazon.com says.) That, and the fact that the first track on this album has my name on it, just go to show that Brandon Flowers and I are meant for each other. HAHAHAhaha..ha…ha. (crickets)

For some “It” bands I have to wait a couple of years for the hype to wear off before I can give them a listen. My roommate just happened to have stole this album and Sam’s Town and they were both the wait. So damn catchy, so damn fun, so damn good, if a little too produced. I’ll be consuming this one for a while.

I was in one of my best friend’s cars, driving around at night. There were 3 of us in the car. We were a little tipsy, but not too much. We had just got back from a day of fun at the minigolf course and restaraunts and just goofing around together. It was late now. We drove around the hills near our town, up and down dark and familiar roads. And all the while, we blasted loud music, including much of this CD, and sang along very loudly and very off key. It was wonderful.

Oh yeah, and The Killers = amazing.

I cannot stop listening to this album!! I think IT is consuming ME!

Not a huge amount of variety in the album itself. The band is obviously in love with the idea of its “sound,” and that’s okay. Not mind-flippin’ amazing, but fun.

I love this album. I can listen to it over and over…and I must sing along.

Awsome!! But, the are from Vegas, like me!!
