WORTH CONSUMING!
It’s difficult to adapt a really good book to screene, especially if you are forced to make some cuts/bend the story to make it work, but Peter Jackson did a fantastic job with this film. I think it helped a lot too that everyone read not just the script for the movie, but the book as well.
The story is great, the acting spot on, and the CG is almost flawless. It does get a bit spotty when Frodo’s going into the mountain.
