WORTH CONSUMING!
I forgot how wonderful this album is, and furthermore, how wonderful the writing and composition of Roger Waters is. I put it on my iPod by mistake this morning, and have been listening to it this evening. This album carries a lot of the same emotional and spiritual struggles forward from The Wall, and even has some of the same melodic themes.
My two favorite tracks so far are “One of the Few” and “The Gunner’s Dream”.
Give Waters a chance. Listen to this a few times over. He’ll grow on you, and you might discover some things about yourself.
