Why I recommend this — 6 years ago

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

If you like wondering what he might’ve whispered to her, about their life after the hotel.

If you love culture. The contrast of urban Japan and the old tradition. How fake tv people can get.

Or simply the mystique and romantic.

I highly recommend this movie.

WORTH CONSUMING!

it makes you wonder and when you are done watching it… you arent really done, its still on your mind and you cant help but think about what happened? What did he say? Are they never going to see each other again? The movie had some really fun parts in it, I think that the way they filmed it was interesting.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I didn’t like this film at all the first time I saw it, I saw it again a year later and then could see why it is voted one of the top 50 must see films.

WORTH CONSUMING!

It was a quiet, and slow, and simple movie but one that keeps your attention. You just have to make it through the first 10 minutes and you’ll be fine. The rest of the movie is great, I love it.

I would liked it better if I were a stranger sometime — 6 years ago

This story is about two lonely married strangers finding different familiar friendship in each other. Their characters are quite oppusite and good, but the plot is not complicated enough. In this case you can just transform “nothing happens” into “it’s too much like life”…

On the other hand rare movies, even independent, deal with global alienation. If u are man of the world, and one day found yourself alone and only in a foreign country, you would like the movie and what it presents to you. On the other hand, if you like more “story” movies, and dislike sad people who do nothing with their lives, this movie might get u pretty bored.
