Shoshana was better — 4 years ago
WORTH CONSUMING!
I was a little disappointed with the Original Broadway cast recording because the singers sounded very non-traditional (when it comes to musicals). There were some pop and country vocals that i felt didn’t do the music justice.
When i saw it on broadway, however…. Shoshana Bean and Laura Thompson were so professional and had excellent control. They fulfilled my need to hear this in traditional broadway voices.
Get the CD though, the music is still amazing _

Idina Menzel’s voice blows me away. I love “No Good Deed” because she really gets to perform on that one. I want to see this show on Broadway.
